Families
We provide a range of specialist Paediatric communication therapy training and coaching services for parents and family members. Families are key partners in implementing support for children who are experiencing speech or other developmental delays . This is why we focus on training and coaching services for parents/ carers of young children aged 0-5 who are experiencing developmental challenges. Unlocking Potential: The Power of Parent Coaching in Play2Talk
Parenting a child with developmental delays can be challenging, but the Play2Talk model offers a transformative solution. We emphasize the importance of parent coaching in our approach, equipping families with the tools to foster their child’s communication and social skills.
Parent coaching in Play2Talk is a cornerstone of our success. By involving parents directly, we ensure that therapeutic strategies extend beyond our sessions and into daily life. This hands-on approach empowers parents to become active participants in their child’s progress, creating a consistent and nurturing environment. Through personalized coaching sessions, parents learn techniques to encourage speech and engagement, turning everyday interactions into learning opportunities.
The benefits of parent coaching are profound. Studies show that when parents are involved, children make more significant strides in their development. Our Play2Talk model aligns with these findings, offering courses like Tiny Talkers and Confident Communicators, which are designed to fit seamlessly into family routines.
Parent coaching is a powerful tool in the Play2Talk model, transforming parents into confident facilitators of their child’s growth. We are committed to supporting families every step of the way.
Join us in harnessing the power of parent coaching to unlock your child’s potential. Together, we can make a difference.
We can provide all coaching online through our telehealth services and we can also offer in home face to face consultations, training and ongoing support to families across Europe.
The Play2Talk model is divided into 4 developmentally referenced levels. These levels will be relevant to different children and different stages of their development. If you are unsure which course will be most relevant to you and your child, please contact us for a baseline assessment appointment.
We have a specialist clinic and nursery based in the United Kingdom run through our charity service Blue Sky Autism Project. Currently this is the only service in the UK to be certified to use the Play2Talk approach. For more details on referrals to this project please visit the website here: www.blueskyautism.com
